Overview:

Totally worth the wait--2 months for my first visit and we immediately booked another dinner for 2 months after. Everything was fantastic, beginning with the friendly and knowledgeable servers. Despite the crowd waiting in the bar area, we were greeted within minutes and our server made wonderful wine recommendations. The hostess was completly accommodating of our decreased guest count and still seated us right on time. And finally, our server Marni was the best! Not only did she make the perfect recommendations, she suggested the best order in which to try them. And of course, there's the food--simply outstanding!

"My new favorite"

Overview:

I visited Sable for the first time last Friday, and I expect to return very soon. First, we hung out in the bar for about an hour before our reservation ("vibrant" bar scene). Our bartender Mike was super friendly and happy to answer our constant questions about the many drink concoctions he was preparing for other tables. The hostess Grace was very helpful and managed to accommodate our last-minute request to add a guest to our reservation (early in the day I had been told this was impossible as the restaurant was completely booked). Finally, the food was outstanding. We shared several small plates and desserts and were happy with all, and everyone loved their entrees. A friend and I each had the venison, cooked to our different requested temperatures, and each was perfect! The only negative is that the venison was a special and not part of the regular menu. Fingers crossed that it will be added permanently!

Overview:

The food and service at Blackbird are always outstanding. It's a lovely spot for a special night out, and it's great for lunch, too. Just be sure your schedule allows for a leisurely lunch if you plan to try multiple courses. Everything is delicious so at least consider sharing appetizers and desserts with your companions.
