Description: Glenn's Diner website states:Glenn’s Diner and Seafood House was created from the desire to Re-Invent the Diner; to combine fresh seafood and diner type entrees, which is to say casual, everyday style food that is full of flavor, reminiscent of food you make at home and can be enjoyed several times a week. My background is in seafood, so there will be a strong emphasis on fresh fish and seafood every night
and day
… Simple Preparations… Fresh Products… Fairly Priced...

So choose a bowl of Cereal, Ham & Cheese Omelette, Shrimp Po’Boy, or a nice piece of salmon…Well, you get the idea.

"Happy as a clam"

Here's a place that treats its seafood in an unpretentious manner and puts all of its energy into the flavor. Best clam chowder I've had in Chicago (the bacon doesn't hurt). As I waddle away after a meal at Glenn's, I want to sit on a New England dock with my sandwich leftovers and stick my feet in the water even with the frigid Chicago air nipping at that warmth in my belly.

Recommended Dishes:

Clam chowder, Lobster Roll (the messiness makes it fun) with a potato pancake as your side. Smoked trout hash

It's called Glenn's Diner, but it's not a traditional diner. It's been featured on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives, but it's not a drive-in or a dive. So what is it? It is a neighborhood place with fantastic seafood. They have the best lobster roll I have had outside Nantucket. Reservations are a must if you are going for dinner.
