Overview:
We never missed the meat during our meal. Some of the more notable dishes we ate were the Shaved Apple & Tatsoi Salad with sweet chili-eggplant purée - light yet intensely flavored; the D’Anjou Pear Soup with camembert and smoked hazelnut - very rich and velvety with the pleasant surprise of golden raisins; the Crispy Rice Noodle with baby bok choy and miso glazed turnips seemed more like a penne dish - think the lotus root mimicked the pasta tubes - it was amazingly delicious; the Mustard & Caraway Spaetzle Stroganoff with hon shimeji mushrooms and smoked onions was the favorite with a toothsome texture. The Brussel sprouts are to die for- savory, sweet and salty and the roasted potatoes with smokey quinoa topping were very meaty in flavor
