Good to be back in Chicago again and have the opportunity to visit one of my favorite breakfast haunts. I had the signature seared oatmeal in cider with a dried fruit compote on top. I 've tried that one at home and do a passable job but this is the benchmark. Of course the best thing to wash it down with is the Orange coffee made with their own beans roasted with the leftover peels from their fresh squeezed orange juice. By the way the beans can be purchased to take home.
